Clancy of the Mounted (1933)
Sergeant Tom Clancy arrives at his brother's house to help his sister-in-law give birth to her first child - and learns that his brother Steve (Earl McCarthy) has been accused of murder of a wealthy rancher. Realizing that he is in the uncomfortable situation of having to arrest Steve, Tom must discover who really murdered the rancher. Jacqueline Wells (who also made movies under the name Julie Bishop) co-stars with Tom as his leading lady. "Clancy of the Mounted" is based on the Robert W. Service poem of the same name.
Note: Only the first six chapters of this 12-chapter serial are available on DVD. The British Film Institute (BFI) holds a copy of all 12 chapters in 35mm in their film archives.
