Code of the Outlaw (1942)
The Three Mesquiteers must help recover a Wells Fargo payroll robbery and find themselves as guardians of a young boy named Tim whose father is part of the robbery outfit. With the father being a victim of another gang member, Tim is unsure of the Three Mesquiteers at first, but eventually warms up to them when they rescue him from an orphanage. As part of the deal, Tim receives a beautiful wild horse as a present - but only he can tame the horse. Stoney, Tucson, and Lullaby hope that Tim will tell them where the money is hidden. Look for Dick Alexander, the buyer of Tim's beloved horse, and the exchange of choice words he has with Tom before knocking him to the ground. Tom quickly gets back on his feet and gives Dick the pummeling of his life.
