In this south-of-the-border western, Tom shares a dance with Rose at a saloon, the girlfriend of Zack Livermore who is a professional smuggler. Rose is waiting for her Prince Charming to arrive in her life when Tom half-jokingly tells her that maybe he is the prince she is looking for. He eventually discovers that Rose is a government agent like he is, and they start to close in on Livermore. The violin playing, murder, and disturbing ending distinguishes Tom's films from his others during this period. Look for George "Gabby" Hayes as Tom's pal in this movie from Trem Carr.
