Tom plays a commanding officer in what is perhaps one of the most famous movies ever made, but he does have a speaking role. Dressed in full uniform on horseback, he encounters Scarlett O'Hara in the street while she is speaking with Big Sam (Everett Brown), and tells her, "Sorry Ma'am, we've got to march."
