Tom Tyler is a member of the cattle drive being led by John Wayne, headed from Texas to Missouri. Barely halfway to the destination, Tom speaks up, wanting to quit the drive, and asks Wayne what the menu for the rest of the journey is. When answered beef, Tom and two other men start to protest – and get plugged by Wayne in return. Perhaps Tom was hoping for chicken or pasta. ;)
